ABOUT US
The Abislaiman family first established Joyería Riviera in 1943 in Havana, Cuba. The store on trendy Galiano Street specialized in selling precious jewels and Swiss timepieces until 1960 when the Castro regime took over and the family fled to Puerto Rico.
With its reopening in 1961 in Old San Juan, Joyería Riviera thrived in a new era of opulence in the local jewelry trade. For many locals and tourists, Riviera became a destination for unparalleled service and trust in the purchase of exquisite pieces imported from exclusive designers from Europe and USA.
Today, third generation jeweler, Julio Abislaiman and his courteous and friendly staff manage an awesome store located in a majestically restored Spanish colonial building at 257 Fortaleza Street in Old San Juan. Joyería Riviera also administers a beautiful salon at the internationally famous hotel El Conquistador in Fajardo, Puerto Rico.
Julio’s twin brother, Paco, owns and manages Riviera Jewelers on Miracle Mile in Coral Gables, Florida and has been serving the Miami community since 1973. Paco can be reach at (305)-445-4000.
